Terms of Use
Presence Studio · Onyx Leaf Media, LLC
Effective October 21, 2026
These terms describe your use of Presence Studio, provided by Onyx Leaf Media, LLC. They apply alongside any applicable Apple software-license or distribution terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
Using Presence Studio
Use the app only where you are permitted to do so and in accordance with applicable law, device permissions, and the rules of services you connect. You must meet the age and consent requirements of your device and connected accounts. Keep your accounts, authorization tokens, and stream keys secure. Do not use the app to gain unauthorized access, interfere with services, impersonate others deceptively, or bypass technical protections.
Presence Studio is currently in development and testing. Features, supported services, and availability may change. A test build is not a promise of public availability or approval by Apple, Google, Twitch, X, or another platform.
Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in your original content. Using Presence Studio does not transfer ownership of that content to Onyx Leaf Media. You authorize the app to process and transmit the content you select as needed to perform your requested previews, recordings, exports, and streams.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, display, broadcast, or distribute your content. This includes music, sound effects, videos, games, websites, logos, likenesses, voices, and audience messages. Obtain recording consent where required. Publicly accessible content is not automatically free to reuse, and a stream subscription does not itself grant rebroadcast rights.
Bundled and imported assets may have separate license conditions. Follow any license or attribution notice supplied with an asset. Do not use the app to bypass DRM, a paywall, access controls, or a provider’s restrictions on capture or redistribution.
Live chat and audience messages
You control which messages appear in your production. Review a message before showing it publicly, especially if it includes personal information, paid-message details, or content unsuitable for your audience. Follow the originating platform’s rules for displaying and retaining chat. Showing a message does not send a platform like, heart, or reply unless a supported feature explicitly says it does.
A displayed message can become part of a saved recording or transmitted stream. Hiding it afterward does not remove it from already captured output. Manage and delete stored or published copies as needed, including to respond to privacy or platform requirements.
Connected services
YouTube. Presence Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You control the account you authorize and the broadcast you start or manage.
Twitch. Your use of Twitch remains subject to Twitch’s Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, and applicable channel, content, and monetization rules. Connecting Twitch does not guarantee streaming eligibility or access to every Twitch feature.
X/Twitter and other destinations. When you configure a compatible stream destination, comply with that provider’s terms, privacy policy, eligibility, and technical requirements. For X, see its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Support for a stream address does not imply native account sign-in, chat access, partnership, or endorsement.
Websites and external sources. Browser pages, web overlays, local-network sources, and imported material are provided by third parties. Their availability, content, permissions, and licenses are their own. Presence Studio does not guarantee capture of every website, protected video, game, audio track, or device.
Recording and streaming
Check the selected sources, audio mix, destination, and privacy settings before recording or going live. You decide when to start and stop output. A service may retain or publish transmitted content according to your settings and its policies. Stopping a stream or disconnecting an account does not automatically delete an existing broadcast or exported file.
Performance depends on your device, network, selected sources, and external services. Keep backups of important content and test your setup before a critical production. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free capture, a specific frame rate, or availability of a third-party service.
App rights and availability
Onyx Leaf Media and its licensors retain rights in the app, its branding, and supplied software. You may use the app as permitted by the applicable distribution license. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party trademarks or content. Apple Vision Pro, YouTube, Twitch, X, and other names belong to their respective owners; Presence Studio is an independent product.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, development and test features are provided as available without a promise of fitness for a particular production. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Separate purchase and refund terms, if applicable, are those presented through the relevant store or transaction.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the app changes and will identify revisions by their effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required. Stop using a feature if you do not accept the terms that apply to it.
